The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascal Nouma might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannik Huth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascal Nouma ran back to his position shaking his head. Ardahan Serter took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannik Huth. Jannik Huth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Pascal Nouma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Cloud FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Nouma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balaban Orcaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsten Schaub, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Jannik Huth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Black Cloud FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emre Kocak hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Black Cloud FC's Pascal Nouma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jannik Huth. Jannik Huth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Balaban Orcaner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carsten Schaub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dejan Leuschner kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dejan Leuschner hit a great ball. When Necdet Bala came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Black Cloud FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necdet Bala couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Nettig in the 41st minute of play forced Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Balaban Orcaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fritz Nettig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balaban Orcaner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Jannik Huth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Nouma in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute Pascal Nouma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannik Huth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Cloud FC's Balaban Orcaner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Cloud FC from getting a goal against them. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Dejan Leuschner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Balaban Orcaner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Black Cloud FC's Pascal Nouma in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
