Mahieddine Bouzid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bill Fitzpatrick went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fodil Otman in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Ross prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes U21 Australia got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Hanslow. 26 minutes into the match, U21 MZ Country's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Fitzpatrick came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahieddine Bouzid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Fitzpatrick in the 28th minute of play. Zoheir Besseghir hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nordine Brahimi charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nordine Brahimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to U21 MZ Country getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nordine Brahimi hit a great ball. With a little luck, U21 MZ Country's Mahieddine Bouzid got control of the ball when Bill Fitzpatrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 MZ Country! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bill Fitzpatrick in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahieddine Bouzid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bill Fitzpatrick in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahieddine Bouzid saved U21 MZ Country from getting behind. After a rather tough play, U21 MZ Country's Zoheir Besseghir got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nordine Brahimi was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 47 played minutes U21 MZ Country got a freekick which was hit by Nordine Brahimi. U21 Australia made a substitution. Jonty Mewburn replaced Nathaniel Warren. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cheb Ben Khalidi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When U21 Australia's Bill Fitzpatrick in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amar Fadela hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Head Son in the 72nd minute of play forced U21 MZ Country's goalkeeper Mahieddine Bouzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucas Head Son's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahieddine Bouzid was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mahieddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Head Son in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Lucas Head Son made a precise shot to the right of Mahieddine Bouzid. U21 MZ Country's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mahieddine Bouzid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Head Son, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. U21 Australia were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after U21 MZ Country's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paul Pegler took the corner. The corner led U21 Australia's Paul Pegler to fire away a dangerous shot which Mahieddine Bouzid despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match U21 Australia got a corner. U21 MZ Country's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Pegler ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Paul Pegler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mahieddine Bouzid quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Australia had won after a very even match.
