Fermin Oto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon McDonough having to interfere. Colby Roth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Dolfo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Dolfo was a little too slow when Sterling Sosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Carnes during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Aaron Ponciano fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's protests and gave Aaron Ponciano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Aaron Ponciano got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Sterling Sosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Dolfo. With a left leg Samuel Dolfo saved ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. During the 89th minute of the match Aaron Ponciano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aaron Ponciano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aaron Ponciano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Samuel Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abe Hoyt in the 91st minute of play. Dillon McDonough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
