FC MeHigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ the free kick. After 4 played minutes FC MeHigh got a freekick which was hit by George Curteanu. In the 5th minute of the match Aurel Ologu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basarab Bocșan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codrin Cucerdean during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Codrin Cucerdean hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Basarab Bocșan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horea Surdu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Busuioceanu got free with Basarab Bocșan in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Manuel Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Ostoici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Curteanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. George Curteanu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Basarab Bocșan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Aluculesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 37 in the game by Costel Busuioceanu from a close distance when the talented Basarab Bocșan managed to make a qualified save. FC MeHigh's players were relieved. 39 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Zbanţ came free, but Basarab Bocșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Busuioceanu in the 41st minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Basarab Bocșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Horia Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Strungă in the 43rd minute of play. A hard shot 45 in the game by Costel Busuioceanu from a close distance when the talented Basarab Bocșan managed to make a qualified save. FC MeHigh's players were relieved. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC MeHigh's Basarab Bocșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Busuioceanu in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Surdu in the 55th minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Basarab Bocșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Bocșan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horea Surdu went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC MeHigh made a substitution. Andrei Tăzlăuanu replaced Augustin Lupescu. Silviu Săraru's late challenge caught a ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silviu Săraru helped the player get up and apologised.
