Vladimir Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Fernando Abar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Vladimir Costa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Abar in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Costa saved Marxistas from getting behind. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro de Amorim in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Bolivia's Ramon Centurión nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bolivia made a substitution. Ruben Da Silva replaced Ramon Centurión. Marxistas's Vladimir Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Abar in the 68th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Haritzeder in the 71st minute of the match. The Bolivia fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Bolivia's Fernando Abar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bolivia's Leonardo Astrada was substituted for Arano Abendano. In the 79th minute, Filipo Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes, Sasoin Abascal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Marxistas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sasoin Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Bolivia's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Marxistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Abar might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Abar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Filipo Abeita got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fernando Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Costa having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bolivia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marxistas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
