After a defensive mix-up in Paris's zone, Edvard Slæggerup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moussa Magniez came out of the goal and Edvard Slæggerup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvard Slæggerup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moussa Magniez having to make a save. In the 13th minute Fabrice Piotrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Désiré Boussin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris's protests and gave Désiré Boussin a yellow card for diving instead. Désiré Boussin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Edvard Slæggerup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabbro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Slæggerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moussa Magniez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paris's goalkeeper Moussa Magniez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edvard Slæggerup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moussa Magniez having to make a save. Moussa Magniez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 24th minute. Edvard Slæggerup scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moussa Magniez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jason Maisonnave hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gabbro FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edvard Slæggerup hit a great ball. Antonio Ciraci kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Nicholas Langsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moussa Magniez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Moussa Magniez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edvard Slæggerup came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Gabbro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvard Slæggerup couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Yohann Debove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabbro FC's Edvard Slæggerup got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris's Yohann Debove got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Yohann Debove off the ground. After a rather tough play, Paris's Yohann Debove got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Slæggerup in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moussa Magniez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 71 in the game by Charles-Henri Grivet from a close distance when the talented Alessandro Mancinelli managed to make a qualified save. Gabbro FC's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Edvard Slæggerup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moussa Magniez was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Paris's Moussa Magniez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 74th minute of play. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Moussa Magniez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Edvard Slæggerup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Moussa Magniez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Edvard Slæggerup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gabbro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Edvard Slæggerup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Edvard Slæggerup notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Paris's Moussa Magniez. Moussa Magniez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Gabbro FC were the better team. Gabbro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
