Leandro Munio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Tauro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Caetano da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo Club. The corner led Chelsicha's Victor Velloso to fire away a dangerous shot which Leandro Munio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. João Paulo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Ciro Elija came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chelsicha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Elija couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Nikola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chelsicha's Túlio Maciel was substituted for Victor Velloso. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Elija in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Maciel came free, but Leandro Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Chelsicha were awarded a corner. João Paulo de Carvalho went to the cornerflag to take it. Chelsicha's Rodrigo Félix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Munio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 82nd minute Túlio Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Maciel in the 88th minute of play forced Bermejo Club's goalkeeper Leandro Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Munio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Maciel's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Túlio Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leandro Munio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
