But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Matos couldn't finish the play. Petr Putyatin charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petr Putyatin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petr Putyatin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Caspiy defense, Rômulo Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martyn Baiseitov. The FC Caspiy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martyn Baiseitov should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Rômulo Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Martyn Baiseitov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klim Muravev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Caspiy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petr Putyatin in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Caspiy's corner Petr Putyatin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luizão Braga quite easily take care of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Klim Muravev notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Catugi FC's Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dida Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Davi Proença hit a great ball. When FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catugi FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Arkhip Repin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi FC's Luizão Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov. But to his dismay, Filipp Debabov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 45th minute, Rômulo Romero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martyn Baiseitov. The goal made the score 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Iskrov in the 52nd minute of play. Konstantin Yakin charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Yakin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Kiko de Lima sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Caspiy's Martyn Baiseitov didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute Klim Muravev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Filipp Debabov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luizão Braga was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 74 minutes of play, FC Caspiy's Andrey Iskrov made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Matos to maneuver through the defense. Andrey Iskrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luizão Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luizão Braga. That made the score 4-4 after 85 minutes of play. Petr Putyatin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Petr Putyatin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipp Debabov hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes, Catugi FC's Kiko de Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martyn Baiseitov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catugi FC reached it. FC Caspiy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
