The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Cholsey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Chamberlain came free, but Hélio Caneças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Kris Chamberlain notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cholsey FC's Hélio Caneças. Hélio Caneças was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the game, FC Alytus United's Jarūnas Kuliešius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Caneças made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Cholsey FC booed when FC Alytus United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lowrey Fallen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Kris Chamberlain rounded Cholsey FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After 14 played minutes Cholsey FC got a freekick which was hit by Balduíno Boal. 16 minutes into the match, Daavid Šembera notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cholsey FC's Hélio Caneças. Hélio Caneças was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, FC Alytus United's Daavid Šembera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarūnas Kuliešius scored 7-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélio Caneças, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute Cafu Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Caneças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jarūnas Kuliešius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Daavid Šembera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Caneças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Romualdas Motiekaitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Alytus United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Cholsey FC's Hélio Caneças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Chamberlain in the 94th minute of play. Rui Russo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Russo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rui Russo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Hélio Caneças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarūnas Kuliešius, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Romualdas Motiekaitis notched a goal, 18-0, to the right of Cholsey FC's Hélio Caneças. Hélio Caneças was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Alytus United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
