Federico Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Primeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Primeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicasio Primeiro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Cartin. In the 22nd match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Primeiro to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gomez came free, but Silvano Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gomez in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alan Mejias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Bernie Sanabria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gomez in the 38th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Silvano Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Carballo in the 60th minute of play. When Marcelo Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Bertol couldn't finish the play. Silvano Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Sanabria, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Sanabria. Eulalio Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Bertol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Sanabria in the 83rd minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Silvano Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Alan Mejias got a free kick in the 85th minute. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Chavarria in the 91st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CD SHETTANI players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
