The referee showed Anacleto Admon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Herblay:s goal. When Pedro Rojelio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. After 22 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Rojelio. After 28 minutes, Rene Luzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Herblay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Severino Huly got a free kick in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Herblay's Antonin Daguerre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. Donato Nalo helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Donato Nalo. The audience cheered when Antonin Daguerre's long shot passed Melquiades Salvatore's right side. It was 4-0, 41 minutes into the match. Antonin Daguerre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 58th minute, Bruno Dunoyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Gildas Montaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal and Gildas Montaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herblay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonin Daguerre in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Antonin Daguerre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Salvatore quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antonin Daguerre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gildas Montaut came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Samuel during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Jonathan Samuel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildas Montaut couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Malik Vrignon sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Herblay's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
