In the 5th minute, Filipe Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Natã Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Passos. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natã Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ramiro de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Dinei Dracena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodriguinho Pernambucano. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pedrinho Cardoso hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fred Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Rosa. In the 36th minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Natã Rosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Hermínio Barreto put in a rough tackle. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ricart Futebol Clube! The referee gave Merusca F&P - CIMZ a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmílson Vidal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ricart Futebol Clube's Fred Passos. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natã Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Salles during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Ian Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricart Futebol Clube's Fred Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Rosa in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Edmílson Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Passos. Fred Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Rosa's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Fred Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Ricart Futebol Clube defense, Edmílson Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Passos. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Passos should have stopped the shot. Natã Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Dieguinho Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dieguinho Rossi hit a great ball. Ian Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Salles in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Rosa in the 92nd minute of play. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
