Fuerzas Armadas's Imanol Rosas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Gutxi in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Fuerzas Armadas defense, Benicio Chap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Imanol Rosas. The Fuerzas Armadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Imanol Rosas should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes of play, SABALEPLUS's Aaron Orzaize made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uzuri Alarcon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Fuerzas Armadas's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Quinton came free, but Imanol Rosas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fuerzas Armadas getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Walme Molina hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uzuri Alarcon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Velazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uzuri Alarcon might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Nabar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uzuri Alarcon ran back to his position shaking his head. Imanol Rosas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Orzaize in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Chap in the 73rd minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Imanol Rosas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
