After taking down the ball on Nonatos United's corner Jimmie Vikström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bai Jian Ao quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th match minute, Stakbröte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Văn 吕布 to maneuver through the defense. When Téo da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Nonatos United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo da Silva couldn't finish the play. Lars Jens made a great header on Stakbröte's corner, it was just that Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Văn 吕布 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard-Dean Textex. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Richard-Dean Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Tage Eklund made a precise shot to the right of Richard-Dean Textex. Nonatos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bai Jian Ao. Bai Jian Ao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Téo da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tage Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard-Dean Textex was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Bai Jian Ao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo da Silva in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Văn 吕布 got free with Richard-Dean Textex in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Téo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Jian Ao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex got control of the ball when Văn 吕布 tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tage Eklund made the kick off in the second half.
