Spectators: 462 (Terracing: 347, Seating: 106, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ambrosio Lonzo started the match with the kick off. Manos Manteca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svetoslav Genkov in the 2nd minute. After 11 played minutes Discípulos de Ayn Rand got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Geleberto. Aristides Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manos Manteca made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Svetoslav Genkov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Discípulos de Ayn Rand booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Octavio Geleberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. El Pulpo Paceño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Geleberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Geleberto in the 23rd minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muc Abeita in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Geleberto in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Gudesteo Abaunza got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Muc Abeita came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muc Abeita in the 32nd minute of the match. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muc Abeita in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Geleberto came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Svetoslav Genkov. With a little luck, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Manos Manteca got control of the ball when Svetoslav Genkov tried to sneak it across the goal line.

El Pulpo Paceño's Christobal Abecia was substituted for Idacio Abecia. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Lockwood made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match, Octavio Geleberto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicanor Ascencio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nicodemo Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodemo Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodemo Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Kamil Glik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manos Manteca skillfully saved the ball. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Lockwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Muc Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Custódio to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Maicon Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Pulpo Paceño and the Discípulos de Ayn Rand players grew even worse after the yellow card.
