It was a well-played corner which Jurand Klocko managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 12 minutes into the game, Bartolo Atarrabi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vodka Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. In the 12th minute, Bartolo Atarrabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mikolaj Jaworski came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolaj Jaworski couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Atarrabi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mateusz Polakowski hit a great ball. Olaf Jestrimski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Theodore in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Rosiewicz. Vodka Juniors's Victorio Jaunzuria quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teofil Maziarz, made in the 31st minute of the game. Mikolaj Jaworski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Jonathan Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Klocko. If Jurand Klocko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikolaj Jaworski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Milko in the 55th minute of play forced Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Jonathan Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Mikolaj Jaworski put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Demario. Olaf Jestrimski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Jurand Klocko got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 81 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Milko came free, but Jonathan Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Angelo Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodka Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Newcastle United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
