A nice corner shot did that Eduardo De Francesco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pankracy Glogowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eduardo De Francesco's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Pankracy Glogowski on his right side and into the goal. 22 minutes into the game it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Andreas Landgren got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo De Francesco made a great header on Santa Margarita's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şevket Çağa to make the kick off. The Santa Margarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Nordström should have stopped the shot. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şevket Çağa in the 81st minute of play. A hard shot 82 in the game by Mauro Icardi from a close distance when the talented Pankracy Glogowski managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Atlanta's players were relieved. In the 91st minute, Mauro Icardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Andréas Hasselqvist hit a great ball. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Margarita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
