To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Seinstra in the 46th minute of play. Albano Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Salvadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The corner ended in Matias Mugica almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lyons's Luisito Quinten did a great save. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
