Jack Saunders might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kennith McNeill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Saunders ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Jack Saunders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kennith McNeill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nereo Precioso came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Precioso couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ defense, Fred Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kennith McNeill. The ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kennith McNeill should have stopped the shot. After 39 played minutes ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Perfecto. In the 41st minute Fred Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennith McNeill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fred Lara made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s zone, Fred Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kennith McNeill came out of the goal and Fred Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kennith McNeill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led FC Lugano's Zhao Le Sen to fire away a dangerous shot which Kennith McNeill despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Yusuf Ziya Cerit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Lara had several of the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Kennith McNeill as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Jack Saunders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Lugano made a substitution. Enéas Silva replaced Igor Linares. In the 80th minute, Yusuf Ziya Cerit reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kennith McNeill. The goal made the score 0-9. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Zhao Le Sen scored to the left of an out of position Kennith McNeill, making the score, 0-10. In the 87th minute, Yusuf Ziya Cerit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yusuf Ziya Cerit scored 0-11 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kennith McNeill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded FC Lugano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰.
