After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Luís Gustavo Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Urbano came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nicolás Castillo. But to his dismay, Nicolás Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25thth minute of the game Nicolás Castillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sérgio Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Castillo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Gualter Gulak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Gualter Gulak came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Jataiense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Gulak couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Castillo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Gulak in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Urbano saved LA VIOLA from getting behind. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luizão Pesquera hit a great ball. LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Gulak in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Jataiense Futebol Clube got a corner. LA VIOLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luizão Pesquera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luizão Pesquera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano did a great save. When Max Sundin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Sundin couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Nicolás Castillo sped through LA VIOLA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sérgio Urbano. The LA VIOLA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jataiense Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
