After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Tití Turbatu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bolo Skjold. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bolo Skjold should have stopped the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Ion Moscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVANTUL PETRICANI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Moscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 20th minute of play forced AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalkeeper Pompiliu Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Petter Skarkman came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pompiliu Murgescu could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Murgescu saved AVANTUL PETRICANI from getting behind. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Willem Adams in the 32nd minute of play. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Pompiliu Murgescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AVANTUL PETRICANI from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AVANTUL PETRICANI getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. 傅竞昆 hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Murgescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Pompiliu Murgescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Petter Skarkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pompiliu Murgescu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute Ion Moscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVANTUL PETRICANI's Pompiliu Murgescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Petter Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. There was no doubt that Protegéerna were the better team. Protegéerna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
