Tadeu Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Petter Skarkman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Bîlbă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The goalkeeper, Tadeu Moraes, was totally fooled by Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sebastian Bîlbă might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bolo Skjold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Bîlbă ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Boroș during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Boroș to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Petter Skarkman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Manuel Boroș made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mădălin Ignat however managed to control.

In the 53rd minute of the game Eduard Bucurescu made a throw-in which Sebastian Bîlbă played forward. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Manuel Boroș with Sebastian Bîlbă as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 58 minutes into the game, Ulrik Söderlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alinborger the free kick. The supporters of FC Alinborger booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bîlbă in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Petter Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 67th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 69th minute of play. Eduard Bucurescu made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 83rd minute of play. Petter Skarkman scored 7-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Söderlund in the 88th minute of play. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 91st minute of the match. Protegéerna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
