Rogelio Fernado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Armindo Salgado 19 minutes into the match. Carlo Amadei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Armindo Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Amadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim de Barros in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Amadei saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Jurdan. Serter Bozlak hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Rezende in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Amadei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half VB-Team were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 minutes Las Momias F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Álvaro Rezende who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Hipolito Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Momias F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Jerico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Joaquim de Barros. In the 67th minute Traian Hăvârneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Amadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Amadei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match VB-Team got a corner. Las Momias F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Traian Hăvârneanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlo Amadei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Hipolito Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88thth minute of the game Traian Hăvârneanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Momias F. The audience was convinced that Traian Hăvârneanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Amadei was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Hăvârneanu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Serter Bozlak hit a great ball. The Las Momias F. C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VB-Team's performance. The match ended with a win for VB-Team.
