Luís Caeiro scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pompiliu Murgescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattias Jonasson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Shao Kun Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. Pompiliu Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 25th minute of the match. Pompiliu Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Kun Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ion Moscu. Pompiliu Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Kun Yuan in the 31st minute of play forced AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalkeeper Pompiliu Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Shao Kun Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, AVANTUL PETRICANI's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Pompiliu Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AVANTUL PETRICANI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pompiliu Murgescu should have stopped the shot. Pompiliu Murgescu came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan. But to his dismay, Shao Kun Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

Jan-Willem Adams kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Jani Petters was substituted for Ion Moscu. The supporters of VB-Team booed when AVANTUL PETRICANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Willem Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 79th minute of play. Pompiliu Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 84th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Traian Hăvârneanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pompiliu Murgescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the match, AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalkeeper Pompiliu Murgescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervásio Severiano. In the 90th minute, Jani Petters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Pompiliu Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 92nd minute of play forced AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalkeeper Pompiliu Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Traian Hăvârneanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 97thth minute of the game Jani Petters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The AVANTUL PETRICANI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VB-Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
