Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobías Izamit took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Albino Zenteno advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 9th minute. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roceira SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobías Izamit was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Chillán's players had a chance to rest. Anton Björnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Erserman in the 25th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickard Erserman's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Inter de Chillán got a corner. Roceira SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobías Izamit ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelinho Barral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 30 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Sotta. In the 31st minute, Roceira SC's Ksawery Winnicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Björnberg. Anton Björnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Anton Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Chillán's Mercurio San Martín managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Válbson Moraes in the 38 minute of the game. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vatan Enfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vatan Enfal made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Hulk Speed. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 56th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes, Válbson Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roceira SC and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Moraes. Válbson Moraes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 62nd minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Barral came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal. But to his dismay, Vatan Enfal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Roceira SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mercurio San Martín 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 71st minute of play. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Fontes in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Speed came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Válbson Moraes hit a great ball. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Michel Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Abel managed to, on his own, get straight through Roceira SC's defense and in the 86th minute placed the ball to the left of Marcelinho Barral. 1-6. In the 90th minute, Vatan Enfal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Michel Haaland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Björnberg skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inter de Chillán walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
