In the 5th minute of the match, Angel Veronica got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armindo Salgado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tadeu Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Caeiro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Sebastian Bîlbă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim de Barros in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Teodoroiu during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes FC Alinborger got a freekick which was hit by Doru Teodoroiu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 12th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Caeiro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Moraes saved FC Alinborger from getting behind. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sebastian Bleile hit a great ball. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 24th minute of play. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of VB-Team booed when FC Alinborger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Boroș didn't get a good kick on the ball. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bîlbă in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Kun Yuan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 38th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Moraes came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano. But to his dismay, Gervásio Severiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Gervásio Severiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Luís Caeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Bîlbă made a kick off. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bîlbă in the 53rd minute of play. Sebastian Bîlbă hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 72nd minute of play. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gervásio Severiano struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tadeu Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Alinborger from getting a goal against them. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes got control of the ball when Joaquim de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Tadeu Moraes in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeu Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim de Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 94 minute of play. VB-Team played a much better game than FC Alinborger and deserved their victory. The FC Alinborger players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
