In the 15th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Willem Adams got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ion Moscu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pompiliu Murgescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by AVANTUL PETRICANI's Ion Moscu. But to his dismay, Ion Moscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Moscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when AVANTUL PETRICANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. 张凡榕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
