Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 5th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Hasselqvist in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fagildo Pamanes got free with Pontus Nordström in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Javier Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Santa Margarita's Eduardo De Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 28th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bolo Bolaño in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Nordström saved Santa Margarita from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fagildo Pamanes got free with Pontus Nordström in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fagildo Pamanes. Hugo Orlando Gatti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gerardo Lordi made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Lordi. After having played for 61 minutes, Andréas Hasselqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andréas Hasselqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Wendell Davids replaced Enzo Peruxu. In the 80th minute Santa Margarita were awarded a corner. Eduardo De Francesco went to the cornerflag to take it. 84 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 87th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fagildo Pamanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauro Icardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Consejo del Mate were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
