Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ömer Erdem started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, U21 Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Rózsa to maneuver through the defense. András Jánosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abidin Işınbay in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Krisztián Albert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. U21 Hungary's András Jánosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Erdem in the 8th minute of play. When Aybar Gürçınar fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Turkey's protests and gave Aybar Gürçınar a yellow card for diving instead. Aybar Gürçınar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krisztián Albert got free with Uchenna Panter in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihály Varga took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uchenna Panter. Uchenna Panter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Abidin Işınbay kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Krisztián Albert hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. András Jánosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Erdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Uchenna Panter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krisztián Albert in the 32nd minute. Mehmet Hamdi Mürsel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, U21 Hungary's Uchenna Panter threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mihály Varga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. András Jánosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alim Eslem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ömer Erdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 38 played minutes U21 Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Almási. Dominik Szoboszlai kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. András Jánosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Erdem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, U21 Hungary's Mihály Varga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

51 minutes into the game, Ömer Erdem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of András Jánosi. Ömer Erdem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. András Jánosi was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Ömer Erdem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ömer Erdem really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. U21 Turkey made a substitution. Mehmet Halis Ergün replaced Ömer Erdem. After 61 played minutes U21 Turkey got a freekick which was hit by Alim Eslem. U21 Turkey made a substitution. Taha Başkaya replaced Abidin Işınbay. After a rather tough play, U21 Turkey's Alim Eslem got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mihály Varga took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uchenna Panter. Uchenna Panter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Mehmet Halis Ergün scored 3-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of András Jánosi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Hungary made a substitution. Ábel Zarka replaced Ákos Kovács. U21 Hungary's Rómeó Végvári was substituted for Krisztián Albert. U21 Hungary's Attila Keresztesi was substituted for Mihály Varga. In the 74th minute, Attila Keresztesi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Taha Başkaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but András Jánosi made a huge save. In the 80th minute U21 Turkey were awarded a corner. Uluç Erben went to the cornerflag to take it. Rómeó Végvári kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Attila Keresztesi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Keresztesi in the 88th minute of play forced U21 Turkey's goalkeeper Uchenna Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Hungary's goalkeeper András Jánosi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uluç Erben was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Turkey's players had a chance to rest. The corner led U21 Turkey's Uluç Erben to fire away a dangerous shot which András Jánosi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. U21 Hungary's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
