U21 Kyrgyzstan's Yuriy Tolbuhin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Kyrgyzstan from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute of the match, Mykyta Komar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yuriy Tolbuhin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ostap Fedoriv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mykyta Komar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Tolbuhin having to interfere. Yuriy Tolbuhin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mykyta Komar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gleb Kaletin sped through U21 Ukraine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petro Yakhno. With a little luck, U21 Kyrgyzstan's Yuriy Tolbuhin got control of the ball when Myroslav Matviychuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mykyta Komar might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuriy Tolbuhin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mykyta Komar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mykyta Komar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myroslav Matviychuk in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuriy Tolbuhin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Boris Hantinskiy fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Kyrgyzstan's protests and gave Boris Hantinskiy a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Hantinskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Mykyta Komar took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Yuriy Tolbuhin to make any attempt to save it. Yuriy Tolbuhin was a little too slow when Myroslav Matviychuk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 5-1.

52 minutes into the match, U21 Kyrgyzstan's goal looked a bit too open when Myroslav Matviychuk came free, but Yuriy Tolbuhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuriy Tolbuhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriy Petlyura in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Matviychuk in the 54th minute of play forced U21 Kyrgyzstan's goalkeeper Yuriy Tolbuhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Beskov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mykyta Komar notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of U21 Kyrgyzstan's Yuriy Tolbuhin. Yuriy Tolbuhin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Grygoriy Lozynskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Tolbuhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myroslav Matviychuk took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuriy Tolbuhin. Yuriy Tolbuhin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Grygoriy Lozynskyi struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Yuriy Tolbuhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Matviychuk in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, one of U21 Ukraine:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U21 Ukraine. The goalkeeper, Petro Yakhno, was totally fooled by U21 Kyrgyzstan's Konstantin Magomedov, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 87th match minute, U21 Kyrgyzstan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Beskov to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Kyrgyzstan's zone, Grygoriy Lozynskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuriy Tolbuhin came out of the goal and Grygoriy Lozynskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuriy Tolbuhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grygoriy Lozynskyi in the 89th minute of play. Yuriy Tolbuhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myroslav Matviychuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Ukraine's Grygoriy Lozynskyi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Kaletin in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Myroslav Matviychuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuriy Tolbuhin was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-2. If Myroslav Matviychuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
