The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petro Yakhno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erick Santamaria in the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, U21 Ukraine's goalkeeper Petro Yakhno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Trump. U21 Honduras made a substitution. Arturo Mayen replaced Ivan Padilla. After 10 played minutes U21 Ukraine got a freekick which was hit by Yevgen Kravchuk. Petro Yakhno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erick Santamaria in the 12th minute of play. Arturo Mayen got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 16th match minute before Petro Yakhno had time to react. The supporters of U21 Honduras booed when U21 Ukraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkhyp Polyanskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno got control of the ball when Arturo Mayen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yasir Meza was a little too slow when Myroslav Matviychuk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 55thth minute of the game Erick Santamaria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Erick Santamaria notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno. Petro Yakhno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Ukraine's Grygoriy Lozynskyi was substituted for Mykyta Komar. In the 65th minute, Rafael Palencia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petro Yakhno was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. U21 Honduras were furious when Donald Trump was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. U21 Honduras made a substitution. Grygoriy Lozynskyi did an outstanding performance 73 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Yasir Meza in the goal. After 97 minutes of play, U21 Honduras's Erick Santamaria made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petro Yakhno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Honduras had won after a very even match.
