Seating: 1184, VIP seats: 103) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Myroslav Matviychuk took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Robert Tudor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Tudor in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petro Yakhno saved U21 Ukraine from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myroslav Matviychuk got free with Marioara Matei in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Tudor might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petro Yakhno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Tudor ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Costel Damian notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno. Petro Yakhno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Petro Yakhno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Cenușă in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Marian Cenușă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Petro Yakhno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, U21 Ukraine's Petro Yakhno got control of the ball when Dan Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nichifor Aelenei replaced Robert Tudor. If Nichifor Aelenei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes of play, U21 Romania's Nichifor Aelenei made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petro Yakhno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Nichifor Aelenei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grygoriy Lozynskyi in the 94th minute of play forced U21 Romania's goalkeeper Marioara Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-10 when Nichifor Aelenei sped through U21 Ukraine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petro Yakhno. The U21 Ukraine supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 Romania's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 Romania.
