After having played for 55 minutes, Abdul Halim Aban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Lebanon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdul Halim Aban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Lebanon's Hafiz Romad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor John Bailey in the 56th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Trevor John Bailey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Trinidad & Tobago and the U21 Lebanon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from Fadi Miyaz in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but Natasha Persaud made a really good save at the right post. Krishna Bednob charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
