Seating: 5448, VIP seats: 473) 3 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Abou Jisser came free, but Natasha Persaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neeshan Mottley kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Abou Jisser in the 19th minute of play. When Abdul Halim Aban came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the U21 Lebanon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdul Halim Aban couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, U21 Trinidad & Tobago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basdeo Barriteau to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Trevor John Bailey stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Hafiz Romad stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing U21 Lebanon of the goal. U21 Lebanon's Fawzi Akram got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 minutes, Dani Abou Jisser made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdul Halim Aban was the one to do the kick off. Mortimer Rahamut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Abdul Halim Aban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Lebanon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdul Halim Aban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Lebanon's Hafiz Romad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor John Bailey in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dani Abou Jisser kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natasha Persaud. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. Bob Partap charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bob Partap the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dani Abou Jisser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natasha Persaud having to make a save. After 62 minutes, Trevor John Bailey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Trinidad & Tobago and the U21 Lebanon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, U21 Trinidad & Tobago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trevor John Bailey to maneuver through the defense. If Abdul Halim Aban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 74 in the game by Dani Abou Jisser from a close distance when the talented Natasha Persaud managed to make a qualified save. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's players were relieved. Mortimer Rahamut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdul Halim Aban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natasha Persaud having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Neeshan Mottley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 82 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Neeshan Mottley. A long shot from Fadi Miyaz in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but Natasha Persaud made a really good save at the right post. Krishna Bednob charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krishna Bednob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, U21 Trinidad & Tobago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krishna Bednob to maneuver through the defense.
