Meho Vehidović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor John Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Jamaal Browne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Natasha Persaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jure Peskalj. Nedim Mekić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Natasha Persaud made a huge save. With a little luck, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud got control of the ball when Marco van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natasha Persaud made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nedim Mekić sent off a good shot on target. U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Meho Vehidović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor John Bailey in the 17th minute of play. Natasha Persaud came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Marco van Basten. But to his dismay, Marco van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Thorin in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Natasha Persaud threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from King Thorin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Natasha Persaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Mekić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor John Bailey came free, but Meho Vehidović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trevor John Bailey to make the kick off. Natasha Persaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jure Peskalj in the 54th minute of play. Natasha Persaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Nedim Mekić put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Natasha Persaud. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor John Bailey in the 60th minute of play forced U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's goalkeeper Meho Vehidović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Browne. U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Pero Talić was substituted for Marco van Basten. U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Mirnes Begić was substituted for Mumin Bobić. After 76 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Browne. Thanks to some nice moves Mortimer Rahamut could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Meho Vehidović however easily saved by the left post. Natasha Persaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Thorin in the 80th minute of play. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Mekić in the 82nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, U21 Bosnia And Hercegovina's Nedim Mekić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natasha Persaud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Natasha Persaud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pero Talić went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
