Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trevor John Bailey took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basdeo Barriteau made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jamaal Browne. After 6 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Browne. After having played for 7 minutes, Oskitz Cadenas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskitz Cadenas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oskitz Cadenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Oskitz Cadenas came free, but Natasha Persaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evarado Ibias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor John Bailey in the 19th minute of the match. Natasha Persaud was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oskitz Cadenas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Trevor John Bailey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evarado Ibias. U21 Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trevor John Bailey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Oskitz Cadenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Oskitz Cadenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natasha Persaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Charles Thompson with Jamaal Browne as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 34th match minute, U21 Trinidad & Tobago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Thompson to maneuver through the defense. Natasha Persaud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xeromo Atauri in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskitz Cadenas made a kick off. Delon Assoon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Delon Assoon hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Oskitz Cadenas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Natasha Persaud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 minutes, Oskitz Cadenas made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to U21 Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Charles Thompson hit a great ball. U21 Paraguay's Gorbea Sasiain got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neeshan Mottley made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Paraguay's Aldo Gonzalez. When Delon Assoon fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Trinidad & Tobago's protests and gave Delon Assoon a yellow card for diving instead. Delon Assoon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mortimer Rahamut's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Evarado Ibias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes into the match, U21 Paraguay's Oskitz Cadenas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natasha Persaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Oskitz Cadenas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natasha Persaud was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. A collision led to U21 Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Charles Thompson hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Oskitz Cadenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natasha Persaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Browne. Evarado Ibias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamaal Browne in the 95th minute of play. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
