Spectators: 15921 (Terracing: 10000, Seating: 5448, VIP seats: 473) U21 Chile's Levi Ackerman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yerko Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Abascal in the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 6th minute of play forced U21 Bolivia's goalkeeper Lope Abellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristopher Damian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Lope Abellaneda made a huge save. Lope Abellaneda stood somewhat misplaced when Levi Ackerman came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. U21 Chile's Yerko Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Parada in the 17th minute of play. Lope Abellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lope Abellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Chile's Yerko Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Parada in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeh Cerda during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Valeh Cerda. 45 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Abarca came free, but Yerko Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Ackerman in the 46th minute of play forced U21 Bolivia's goalkeeper Lope Abellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lope Abellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 52nd minute of play. Victor Hugo Painevilu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lope Abellaneda. Lope Abellaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 56th minute, Francisco Hernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Hugo Painevilu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lope Abellaneda having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Jose Manuel Hernández cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lope Abellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Chile made a substitution. Fidelio Aldunate replaced Levi Ackerman. U21 Chile's Marcelino Calzada was substituted for Victor Hugo Painevilu. After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Mark Gonzalez got a free kick in the 65th minute. Don Elias scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lope Abellaneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the U21 Chile players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
