Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The supporters of U21 Serbia booed when U21 Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sopena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Ecuador's Beto Araujo got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Radoslav Krneta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Ecuador's attentive Martinez Feloaga managed to snatch the ball when Dušan Trivunac made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Stojmen Tujković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, U21 Serbia's Dušan Trivunac got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to U21 Serbia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dušan Trivunac hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goalkeeper Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Junior Shevchenko. In the 31st minute, Janko Matović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Victor Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stojmen Tujković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goalkeeper Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Junior Shevchenko. Beto Araujo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes in the game Gennaro Gattuso after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos. A very good opportunity.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Junior Shevchenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. U21 Ecuador's Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Matović in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, U21 Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Janko Matović came free, but Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Milutin Mančić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Serbia and the U21 Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 Serbia's Milutin Mančić got a free kick in the 56th minute. U21 Ecuador made a substitution. Villafuerte Aramoyana replaced Victor Peres. With a little luck, U21 Serbia's Stojmen Tujković got control of the ball when Villafuerte Aramoyana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Ecuador's Segundo Balaunde slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stojmen Tujković. That made the score 0-1 after 67 minutes of play. U21 Serbia's Tomislav Rušić was substituted for Ratibor Paunović. 77 minutes into the match, Villafuerte Aramoyana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stojmen Tujković, 0-2. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Serbia's goalkeeper Stojmen Tujković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stojmen Tujković made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Segundo Balaunde sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Janko Matović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Milutin Mančić notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of U21 Ecuador's Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julian De La Rosa-Zevallos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslav Krneta in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Diego Di Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Ecuador and the U21 Serbia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of U21 Serbia booed when U21 Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Di Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villafuerte Aramoyana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stojmen Tujković read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
