In the 7th match minute, U21 Georgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili to maneuver through the defense. Jondo Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Batliner, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. U21 Liechtenstein's Alfons Telic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Liechtenstein from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from Tico Lizano in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alfons Telic had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 13th minute, Sandro Wolfinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, U21 Georgia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Batliner came free, but Jondo Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Georgia's Jondo Andrzheevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Büchel-Sele in the 19th minute of play. Alfons Büchel-Sele might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jondo Andrzheevskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Büchel-Sele ran back to his position shaking his head. Jondo Andrzheevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Andersen in the 22nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Tico Lizano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfons Telic, 1-0. When U21 Liechtenstein's Alfons Büchel-Sele in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Georgia's goalie prevented a goal. Tico Lizano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. U21 Georgia's Jondo Andrzheevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Batliner in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Sandro Andersen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jondo Andrzheevskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tico Lizano made a kick off. Jondo Andrzheevskiy came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Liechtenstein's Alfons Büchel-Sele. But to his dismay, Alfons Büchel-Sele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. U21 Georgia's Sabir Torotadze was substituted for Kvarkvare Pozharskiy. U21 Georgia's Davit Paghava was substituted for Giorgi Neparidze. With a little luck, U21 Georgia's Jondo Andrzheevskiy got control of the ball when Lucas Batliner tried to sneak it across the goal line. U21 Georgia's Jondo Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Georgia from getting a goal against them. Jondo Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Büchel-Sele in the 68th minute of play. Jondo Andrzheevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Andersen in the 72nd minute of the match. Alfons Telic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabir Torotadze's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jondo Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Andersen in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes U21 Liechtenstein got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Andersen. In the 85th minute, Sandro Andersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Davit Paghava notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of U21 Liechtenstein's Alfons Telic. Alfons Telic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfons Telic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naskhida Khatiashvili in the 90th minute of the match. U21 Georgia's Jondo Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Georgia from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Julien Marxer took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Jondo Andrzheevskiy to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over U21 Liechtenstein could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Georgia throughout the match.
