Michel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Rauvoets, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Endrik Halland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gabriel Van Dyck made a huge save. U21 Brazil's Michel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Van Dyck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Halland in the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Michel Neuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Rauvoets. Enzo Rauvoets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Michel Neuer made a huge save. But to his dismay, Endrik Halland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Dan Dal Bello replaced Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink. When U21 Brazil's Dan Dal Bello in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Dan Dal Bello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Van Dyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 89thth minute of the game Dan Dal Bello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Belgium's Gabriel Van Dyck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dan Dal Bello hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Dal Bello in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Van Dyck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
