Lucas Rallo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jorrin Briones sent off a good shot on target. Spain's Lucas Rallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Espiridion Durazno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucas Rallo. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Miro Contratas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Paul Ramon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Spain's Lucas Rallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. Lucas Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espiridion Durazno in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute Espiridion Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Ramon had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Froilan Reyes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner ended in Edorta Portillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Paul Ramon did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Paul Ramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Reyes in the 55th minute of play. Coronel Fuster came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paul Ramon could save by the left post. Lucas Rallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Camus, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cordarin Escurza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spain made a substitution. Lucas Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Colmenares came free, but Lucas Rallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Coronel Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Ramon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The Spain players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Peru from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
