In the 16th minute Conrado Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Beach AFC's Fabrício Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Beach AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Ramond in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Gröhe saved Golden Beach AFC from getting behind. In the 44th minute Gastres FC were awarded a corner. Mathieu Koning went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mathieu Koning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrício Gröhe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Faouzi Adjani kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Fabrício Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
