U21 Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Dal Bello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. U21 Brazil's Michel Neuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Brazil from getting a goal against them. Fabio Santilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Dal Bello in the 26th minute of the match. Fabio Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Dal Bello in the 29th minute of play. U21 Italy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
