Boguslaw Siwek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Adrian Pătrășcanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boguslaw Siwek. The goal made the score 4-0. 32 minutes into the game, Izydor Bakes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Powiśle Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC UNIREA Alba Iulia the free kick. After 32 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Bakes. In the 45th minute, Gösta Ekgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 46 in the game by Iulian Pietreanu from a close distance when the talented Boguslaw Siwek managed to make a qualified save. Powiśle Warszawa's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
