Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, FK Eldema Mstišov's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Chiquito Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when FK Eldema Mstišov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Eldema Mstišov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Šlapák in the 65th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Kubánek in the 78th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Chiquito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Trasatti got free with Chiquito Flores in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concetto Trasatti took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquito Flores. Chiquito Flores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Korneliusz Miodek hit a great ball. Traian Blăniță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Concetto Trasatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Chiquito Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estudiantes de América had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
