Korneliusz Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Astudillo having to make a save. Korneliusz Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Aurelio Astudillo made a huge save. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quilo Lujarra in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute Quilo Lujarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagner Doro in the 26th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Korneliusz Barna made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter got control of the ball when Claudio Bucciarelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Wagner Doro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filip Negulici made a great header on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo managed to reach the ball for a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Barna couldn't finish the play. During the 94th minute of the match Wagner Doro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wagner Doro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wagner Doro to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Quilo Lujarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The San Lorenzo 11 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Lorenzo 11 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
