Montay Pena made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lu Fan Xi immediately put the ball in play. Valter Xabat hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 17th minute of play. Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Kottsieper took the corner. The corner led Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper to fire away a dangerous shot which Giorgio March despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pol Petton scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jess Carnduff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valter Xabat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Giorgio March skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner. Saul Roman went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Saul Roman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jess Carnduff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute Santiago Nafría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March got control of the ball when Valter Xabat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pol Petton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Pol Petton came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pol Petton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jess Carnduff made a huge save. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alvar Llinares was substituted for Manuel Lopez de Toro. Giorgio March stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Xabat's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Montay Pena made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lu Fan Xi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pol Petton got free with Jess Carnduff in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Montay Pena hit a great ball. Manfred Kottsieper kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pol Petton in the 81st minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Del Piero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Alemannia Aachen getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Thomas Müller hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Montay Pena. 92 minutes into the game, Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgio March made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Alessandro Del Piero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
