An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybars Çokman in the 15th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Askestät lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in O.T.E fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Aníbal Sá got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Javier García. Tarcisio Couto went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aníbal Sá made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Aníbal Sá notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of O.T.E's Javier García.
