Dan Van Caels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mait Pihl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Dan Van Caels struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Mait Pihl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC. Karl-Erik Hellström was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Nemesio Hechter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Hechter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mait Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Caels, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian Castrejana in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Christian Castrejana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mait Pihl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Karl-Erik Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Lekubegi in the 14th minute of play. Karl-Erik Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Hechter in the 16th minute of play. When Herminio Florin came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Florin couldn't finish the play. Herminio Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mait Pihl having to interfere. Mait Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute Herminio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mait Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elari Hirv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Hellström having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Hechter to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Nemir Al Hammady put in a rough tackle. Mait Pihl had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Christian Castrejana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 62 minutes into the match, Christian Castrejana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mait Pihl, 1-1. Capua Whitewolves's Mait Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Van Caels in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Dan Van Caels made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mait Pihl was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Dan Van Caels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mait Pihl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Lekubegi in the 87th minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Hellström having to interfere. The Capua Whitewolves manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC to win.
