Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Hong Le in the 22nd minute of play. Akis Remoundos's late challenge caught a Ekskluzywni menele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akis Remoundos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ekskluzywni menele booed when A.C. Paulistano - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Remoundos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Wang Hong Le kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Campos. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paolo-César Maldini the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ekskluzywni menele protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo-César Maldini had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 46 played minutes Ekskluzywni menele got a freekick which was hit by Paolo-César Maldini. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Zbigniew Brudzisz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jorge Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 96 minutes into the match, Ekskluzywni menele's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Marut came free, but Zbigniew Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekskluzywni menele's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
