The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Niedzwiecki came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Vedholm in the 7th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Lanczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute Min Eta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waclaw Hludzenski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greid Tinsmith having to make a save. In the 15th minute Janusz Niedzwiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 18th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heintje Alemasov in the 22nd minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Inge Braa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doffes Damer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Braa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Hludzenski in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sawino SA's goalkeeper Borys Lanczak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borys Lanczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Braa in the 30th minute. Doffes Damer were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Sawino SA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pier Kopacz took the corner. The corner ended in Pier Kopacz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak did a great save. Borys Lanczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Braa in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Inge Braa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak. Borys Lanczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Braa in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Lanczak saved Sawino SA from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Heintje Alemasov came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Heintje Alemasov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Braa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Lanczak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Borys Lanczak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Braa went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heintje Alemasov got free with Greid Tinsmith in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute of the match, Janusz Niedzwiecki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Greid Tinsmith saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Braa in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Min Eta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greid Tinsmith. Doffes Damer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Min Eta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Doffes Damer made a substitution. Ronaldo Cristi replaced Inge Braa. Doffes Damer's Andréas Stigsson was substituted for Greg Barrera. After some careless play in the Sawino SA defense, Ronaldo Cristi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Lanczak. The Sawino SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Lanczak should have stopped the shot. Rafael Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, one of Sawino SA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sawino SA. Borys Lanczak had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Ronaldo Cristi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ronaldo Cristi did an outstanding performance 76 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 5-1 to the right of an irritated Borys Lanczak in the goal. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Hludzenski in the 80th minute of play. Greid Tinsmith made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Min Eta sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith got control of the ball when Heintje Alemasov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Sawino SA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Göran Vedholm who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Göran Vedholm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak did a great save. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 92nd minute, when Sawino SA's Ignacy Frodyma after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Greid Tinsmith in Doffes Damer's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 96th minute Waclaw Hludzenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sawino SA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Doffes Damer.
